what is the correct position for the gold pentastar emblem ?
« on: March 08, 2009 - 06:25:02 PM »
Hi guys,
anyone got a photo of the pentastar emblem on the fender, in the correct position ?

And is it only supposed to go on the one side ???

Yes, it only goes on the passenger's side front fender. I have a Challenger, so I can only suppose it's close to how it would be placed on a Cuda.

emblem was only on the '70 and '71 models I think. If it is a factory fender there should be a mounting hole as the original emblem has a locating tab on it.

Thanks Guys,

From those photos then, it seems to have been mounted lower down on the cuda than it was on the chally !

I thought all Chrysler products had them till the late 80's. I know I have seen them on caravans. Maybe even newer ones if I remember right

Does anyone have the "specs" for the location of the pentastar emblem on the Challenger?  I see that the above has the Cuda location.  Is it the same on all models?   I have a repro fender on my car and it is not pre-drilled or marked for the emblem.

Thanks  ..... CHAPS70RT

I am also interested in knowing because my original 71 fender never had the holes for it.  :clueless:

None on the  74 barr. but the 68 barr. has one...and a V8 fish emblem. Those pentastars fit in holes and are a carry over from the 60's.

Hi Guys,

Just to let you know i have put a pentastar on each side of my car....................i like to be balanced

:cooldancing:       besides, it might affect the handling with just one pentastar !           :roflsmiley:
