Old ad, and a little over budget, but here it is-

1971 Barracuda convertible 318, column automatic, rally hood, white power top, tinted windshield, 14X6 rims, air conditioning, Saddle Tan interior, Bahama Yellow paint, numbers matching, buildsheet, original bill of sale, original loan agreement, 52K original miles. This is a mint rust free pampered convertible. It is 100% original except for the things listed at the bottom. This car runs and drives mint!!
History: In early 1971 three identically optioned cars arrived at Hansen Mead Motor Co. in St. Joe, Missouri. The cars sat on the lot until late 1971. The dealership was anxious to sell them since the 1972 model year arrived so they drastically reduced in price to get rid of them. A local man named Forrest entered the dealership on December 23rd 1971 curious about the 3 1971 Barracuda convertible's on the lot. He made a deal and purchased one of the three cars. The other two cars were sold soon after to local buyers. Forrest enjoyed the car so much he ended up buying the other two cars, one for his wife and one for his son. Two of the cars were sold in the late eighty's / early ninety's. Forrest kept this car until 1999. He decided to sell it so he drove it to the Auto Shopper in Kansas City, Missouri. He got out and parked it in front of the building. A man named Scott happened to drive by the car while he was on his way to take his wife out for lunch. He pulled over and talked to Forrest just before entering Auto Shopper. He asked him if the car was for sale and ended up buying it from Forrest. Scott got to know Forrest and got all of the history on the three cars. (The other two cars still exist, one is rusty and needs restoration and the other one has been restored. They were last known to be located in the southern United States). The only changes I made was the exhaust (rusted), I replaced the belt molding (had snaps added to the molding), I had to get a new boot (Legendary had original NOS vinyl from Chrysler). That's it! This car still has the original Bahama Yellow paint, original carpet, seats, convertible top, spark plug wires, trim etc. Basically everything! $49,900.00 Or E-body trades and cash.
