Unfortunally I dont have any on my digital camera. I have real pictures and I dont have a scaner. Just thought I'd share the story. Also the 3rd quarter pannel had bondo on it. They drilled holes in it and used screws to pop out the dents in it. It was seriously hacked.
Mopar to ya!

Here is a contribution.  This was a working hack job of course. Could have been worse.

I apologize for the crappy photos.  Wife has my camera.  This is my hunting camera.

About 10-15 years ago, those 71 parking lenses were like GOLD!  I remember trying to find a pair and everybody want SICK money for them - like $300-500!

Here are a couple of shots of Frankenwheelhouse.

I'll see if I can get a few shots of the inch-inch 1/2 on the quarters and tail panel. The tail panel was pretty much molded out of Bondo. The guy was a real artist.

I have spent the last 2 years removing the previos owners hackjobs.  Check my firewall.  That is how you remove the A/C.  Not!

While at the shop today where my Cuda is at, some Pontiac Firebird DIY'r decided to modify his front lower Valence. The shop guys tried to tell him how to do it in a clean professional look.

He wouldn't listen to them. He felt he knew what he was doing.
Here's his work.

Wow! That is the biggest problem with buying one of these old cars "restored". You pay good money, and that mess is hidden under shiney new paint. I can see why some of you guys with the big shops and proper tools go and buy a basketcase and do it right yourself. I dont have those things so all i could do was take my friend who is a big mopar guy and also a mechanic by trade to go with me and show me what he could find wrong and then let me decide. Now all i can do is hope for the best.

Here's a shot of the passenger door of the Cuda after most of the bondo was stripped. The drivers door was in a lot better shape.

Hey Daytona! That car wasn't used as a range car at a driving range by any chance, was it? Wow!  :eek4:
