Hi again, I was born and bred in Auckland, Schooled and brought up in Ponsonby.
I have an Aunty living in Whangarei. Never been there myself but have heard it’s very nice. Been in Oz for some time now, came over with Mum and Dad.
So what’s involved in licensing your beast in W.A? Hope it’s not too hard and doesn’t come with any associated dramas! I wish I knew you had a container coming over, I’m looking at fitting a T/A hood as soon as I can find one, (even although I’m in S.A, just getting one into the country would be a good start) Gotta love those T/A hood scoops eh. So what other goodies have you got in mind/lined up for your Chally other than the new Rallye’s?.
P.S Thought I’d include this photo, I picked up the bottle of Rum from a Aussie workmate (SUCKER) who was foolish enough to bet against the mighty AB’s a while ago. I took this photo and emailed it to him. (Nothing like a bit of salt in the wound eh)

It is sweet when the AB's win but not so good when they lose, which thankfully hasnt happened much lately.
We have been here for just under 7 years and have been slowly building our American car collection, not really intending to do that, but has just happened. We have been picking one up each time we have been to the states on holiday. Its a good way to get parts and other goodies back.
WA is very easy to get a classic American car licensed in, compared to some states, so I have heard. Should be on the road next week, all going well.
Other changes include, new carpet, new headliner, rear spoiler, vinyl roof and we have also bought a 383 with 727 trans, not sure what we are going to do with that yet?
Our container doesnt leave to about 3 weeks, if you want I can get prices and see how it stacks up. We dont want to make anything out of it, just helps pay for the container. The other option maybe to ship it to Melbourne, I know the guy we are shipping through does ship there quite often, not so much to Adelaide, more expensive I think. Do you want fibreglass or steel? Anyway let me know if you are interested.
