440 six pack setup.
« on: March 11, 2009 - 11:10:09 AM »
I have a brand new 440 six pack setup, manifold, carbs, air cleaner, linkage, fuel lines, the works.  I bought it new at Carlisle a few years back.  I wrapped it in towels and stuck it on a shelf.  Edelbrock aluminum intake ( small scratch where it rubbed smooth against something, should be easy to rough back up )  Holley carbs ( automatic I think ) all are new, never installed.

Doesn't look like I'm going that route now, so I wonder what the going rate would be currently.

Thanks,

P.G.

They have been going for between 1500 and 2000 recently.  I might be interested in it. PM me once you decide on a price. :2thumbs:

Looking online, the only ones I can find so far are:

http://www.sixpackperformance.net/home.php?cat=295

http://www.herbsparts.com/proddetail.asp?prod=6PAKRBENG

I can't believe these are representative of what they are really going for.  Anyone able to find prices a bit more "realistic" ?

I'm sure someone has them in the $2K range.

I've decided I'd try and list the setup here before it goes on eGouge or to the Nats.

$1700.00 and shipping to the lower 48 should run between $25 & $50

If you want any pics or further info, just let me know.

I sure wish I had the $$$ for this....I've been looking for one for some time now.....just with the economy the way it is, it's hard to spend $1,700.00 right now.......good luck with the sale, please keep me in mind if you lower the price though..... :naughty:

Big Al,

You probably can't see the pics, because I haven't been able to dump them off the camera to my PC to upload them yet.
