I think he is feeding us nothing but bs. He tells us he is going to cut the budget deficit in half and then doubles it.  :screwy: All he does is spew doom and gloom and blame the past 8 years and the GOP, instead of focusing on the future. He makes claims of removing waste and earmarks and then signs a bill will 9000 earmarks. Please, and all the while he is talking out ot both sides of his mouth his supporters eat up every word.

Now, now,

He was negative until Bill Clinton came out and said he should be more positive. Now he is, and life is great.

I hope and pray for our leaders and this nation. I support our president. but I don't have to like him. I think he's got his hands full, but is leading this nation down a path of no return that will take decades if ever to recover from. I still say his record as a senator shows his current direction and it is coming to light now. I just watched a video on how we just keep printing money as it's no longer based on our gold reserves. It's devalued to the max. I hope our leaders will wisen up before it's too late!!

if they are just gonna print the money all they gotta do is call me up.i'll be more than happy to go down and pick up a trailer load. but then that wouldn't happen.they know i'd actually spend it and stimulate the economy for real.unlike all the other pinheads they've given billions to.

Even though I might not agree with his policies and even though some of his first moves have not been the greatest, its early yet, give him a chance. I blame our current economy on some bad timing but for the most part the blame falls squarely on the majority rule in Washington right now. He has his hands full but he needs to quit throwing OUR money at the problem. If the world loses confidence in the U.S.A. then we are done for. We have to face the fact that we are beggars in kings clothing, we owe way more than we can ever hope to repay and most of our debt is owned by foreign nations.

Three things really bother me about him. 1) He takes every opportunity to trash GWB for the economy when we all know why it tanked. Gas prices and sub-prime loans. Bush called for domestic drilling in his first speech and the community reinvestment act was not his bill. .2) All these people he's nominating for positions that have tax problems. 3) He talked the stock market into the toilet.

I'll give him a solid D so far.
