Drive or trailer

Most of the shows we got to are 250 miles one way. The Road Runner had 3:23's and we drove it. The T/A has 4:88's and it's in the trailer. Carlisle is 2 1/2 days which equals to 1800 miles one way so it's in the trailer. I admit I like the comfortable seat and cruise control the truck offers. Not to mention AC and a good stereo!

I drive mine everywhere! Shows, work, grocery store. But its my daily driver, so that makes sense. So far I think the longest trip I've taken it on is about 150 miles. Hopefully I'll be driving it to Spring Fling, that'll be about around 400 miles one way!

I drove my Challenger to Carlisle last year which was just under 400 miles. I took a dog leg route to visit the folks on the way. I had a 2:76 interstate gear and it drove wonderfully (big block 440) but I now have a 543 stroker with 3:91 posi and I'm not sure about the long drive. I Don't have a trailer but wish I did. I think I'll try the scenic route (make lots of stops) and burn rubber all the way to Carlisle, heck, that's what I built the motor for!!

The front trim ring came off somewhere outside of Tok, Alaska. We replaced it with a lot of dirt.

I made the trip straight out of my body brace from my broken back too. 

That trip is what got me through the worst three months of my life, I needed something positive to look forward too. The trip filled the bill perfectly.

Dont own a trailer, so there you have it! If I'm heading to the dragstrip I'll put one of my buddies on alert in case it spits something out.

We drive our 71 challenger everywhere. Usually only on nice days, but we do the full Hot Rod Power Tour with it.

Drive the Chally all the time, including a 6 hour 1 way trip to Carlisle last year - was super cool the weather was great and nothing like it!
