Dust Boots for Idler & Pitman Arms?
« on: March 17, 2009 - 11:09:49 AM »
Is anyone selling dust boots for idler and pitman arms?  I need to replace them on my car and don't want to replace the armes themselves.

I only see tie rod boots from them.  Are they the same as for idler & pitman?

Bigshclunk, what is the part number you used?  I need to replace all my tie rod end dust boots and Pitman arm dust boot. The only one I could find thats even close was NAPA part number 650-1175.  The problem is the NAPA part is much taller and will probably slip off past the seal area once its pushed one.

71Chally416, Thanks.  I noticed that part # fits a B body, any idea if they have one for the E body?

I found it.  FDP963 @yearone.  Has anyone used these before?  Are they just like the original ones with metal inserts or do they look like the typical aftermarket cones shapes ones?

Dunno.....  :clueless: I actually bought one of those kits for my car but haven't got around to putting them on yet. Don't ask me where I put it at.  :dunno:
