'68 Charger R/T 440- Lots of Pics, might be slow to load.
« on: March 17, 2009 - 12:09:58 PM »
68 Charger R/T 440?   My friend bought it, pulled the trunk floor out to replace it, then lost interest. He painted the rear rails with Rust Bullet. I think he said that he wants $15K for it.  Blue, needs lower quarter patches. I posted the pic that he gave me. the guy doesn't have a computer.

I got a pic. The color you see is PRIMER.  Here's what I know. Blue interior but was converted to black
Non numbers 440, but he get under there to look. A/C, Auto, He said somebody cut the cluster for different guages, so it may need a cluster. He said it also needs patches for the lower front fenders. In High, Ridge, Missouri
Call John at 636-677-3083, Make him an offer.

I'm still kinda interested, Rob.  Did you happen to ask him about my car?

I'll print them out.

Yep.  Looks better in photos than in person.

I found a '68 R/T much much closer for the same $$ with a lot less rust, but he doesnt want to trade.   :violin:

Just mention it to him.  I'd like to find something more solid, thanks Rob.

So why mention it to him if you want to find something more solid. You said the same thing last year when I sent you the pictures then.

You're right.  I've got his number now, I'll call him if need be.

There are two very nice, completely finished 68-70 Chargers for sale on the Charger forumn for 10-14K.  Good luck anyway.

I was never into Chargers myself. I always thought that they road like a boat.  I'm sure that A-body owners say the same thing about our e-bodies.
