I found this link to a company called Golden Leaf Automotive in Canada.  It is a subsidiary of Dynacorn in the US which produces the Camaro and Mustang body shells.

http://www.goldenleafautomotive.com/main/newparts/pdf/0901/03challanger.pdf

If you check out the PDF you'll see they sell the complete back-half of a challenger as a unit including the rear under seat pan, trunk floor, frame rails, gas tank straps, shock cross member and rear crossmember.  It's a little pricey and but it's Cdn funds.  AMD and Goodmark have all of the components but they don't have an integrated welded unit like this.

I saw some of there stuff here in Toronto at the Performance world car show last week and it all looked pretty good and I thought the prices were good for what you get.
My friend here is going to try them out for a pair of 72 fenders.

I talked to them at the Barrie Automotive flea market last summer and they "claim" to be working on a 1970 Challenger complete body, just like the camaro and the stangs? He told me they purchases a mint Challenger disassembled it and are making tooling for it in China I think he said? Overseas anyhow.
He said it would be out by Christmas? Still haven't seen it? Price was around $15,000  I wonder if this project is another statistic of the recession?

Wonder if their fenders are the same quality as Goodmark or AMD.

It wouldn't surprise me that they are working on a complete Challenger body given all of the components they have.  I also noticed they are working on the front frame rails complete with shock towers and inner fenders.  Don't think any other company is close to having these.

It's great we can get this stuff in Canada without having to pay brokerage fees at the border.

I also spoke to them at the performance world car show.  I asked them about the quality & who they are made by and they really couldn't answer it. He said that there are only a few manufacturers and every one just puts their own packaging on, he said that it is equal to goodmark stuff because they are probably the same piece?  if this is true I guess goodmark will have the other parts available soon.

I visited their warehouse in Woodbridge last week. Very impressive.  They had about a dozen Camaro shells that were waiting in wooden crates to be shipped.

For Challengers they had the complete back section as one welded unit which included:

1) the kick-up after the front floor/rear foot well section
2) the trunk floor and gas tank braces
3) the full frame rails and spring perches
4) the shock cross member
5) the rear cross member

They had 5 in stock and said they were selling like hot cakes at $2300.  It looked really good.  They claimed that resto shops love these complete units because they required alot less labour to install compared to having to weld each of the individual pieces.

Similarly they also had the full unitized front section that would be joined to the rear section.  This Included the front floor, the torsion bar crossmember and the rear footwell floor.

I was wondering if anyone on the forum had actually purchased one of these?

They don't have this stuff for Cuda's because Cuda's don't need it 'cause Cuda's are better! :roflsmiley: :roflsmiley:

The Cuda stuff won't be far behind given the similarity and interchangeability of some of the panels. They are supposed to be coming out with a firewall/cowl combo soon which will drop right into the Cuda.
