Inspection sticker question
« on: March 20, 2009 - 12:18:44 PM »
It's possible my 70 could be road worthy within a few months. My question is, since my car was last inspected in 1976 can I leave that sticker on? I just like it, for nostalgia's sake I guess. Can I just cover it and remove the tape for shows and such?  :clueless:

In missouri, you can register the car as historical vehicle and do not have to have it inspected any longer. Not sure if it is that way where you live.

I'm in Texas, also, but I'm not sure about your question.  My guess would, though, that you would have to remove it.  As anal as they are about their DMV regs, it wouldn't surprise me, but it would be worth asking.  That would be pretty cool.  Or......, get a 2nd windshield and swap them out at shows.  Sounds like fun.
