    I am just about to start with the restoration on my convertible.  Can you guys please post pictures of your verts to help me with some ideas.  Here is mine in its pre restoration state.  It is an original FK5 car.

     Yeah I know what you mean.  I took it out today and had a ball but I want it like my blue one that is shown in one of the pictures.

    You don't see too many FK5 verts.  I'd clean it up and leave it as is  :2thumbs:

    I hate to say it but I would leave it be also.  That is a beautiful car!   

    What color are you thinking of changing it over to? 

    What color is the interior?  Looks black.  Is that original color of interior, top, and exterior?

    I will  definitely keep it as an FK5 car.  I was more interested how this color scheme looks with the shaker assembly.  The original interior was white.  I will definitely change that to FK5 or black and change the top to black as well.  Oh yeah, the car is not an RT car.  Seems someone attempted to clone the vehicle.  Currently has a 318 that is stout.  I will change that motor with a 440 block I have out of a 1967 Cornet.

    BTW nice cars guys.. Does anyone know how many 1970 verts are still left?

    Here's my FK5 Charger that has white/white interior and vinyl top, but I think E-Bodies look awesome with black and black on FK5.

    LOL I hear ya. When you get excited about something its a surprise and kind of a letdown when people dont just bumrush your thread. Maybe you could list your reasons for wanting to restore the car because in the pics I just dont see much justification. It looks like a very nice driver from the pics.
