340 engine runs about a minute then cuts off

this engine was rebuilt and ran fine. the only problem was a oil leak. after changing out rear main, found out it was the plug behind the cam. while i had engine out i replaced intake.  Got it running in the car today but only runs about a minute then looses power, i am using an  accel 71301 dist. i saw that i forgot to ground a wire of distributor. After grounding it, same problem. any ideas ?

My engine had a similar problem and it was the coil. Test for spark.

thats what i was thinking. I dont like the accel setup, seems like i have gone through a few coils in its short time.Im trading this dart for a 73 rallye project . so i just want to keep it running

could be the pick up coil in the dist as well if it has electronic ign
