A/C Vacuum hose and Heater Valve Cable ????
« on: March 24, 2009 - 01:25:04 PM »
On a '72 Challenger, where do the A/C vacuum line that connects to the engine and the cable that controls the water valve go thru the firewall?  Is it thru the hole just below the heater box?  Is there a grommet that goes in and then the hose and cable fit thru it? :dunno:

Thanks!

Jeff

On a 71 Cuda the vac line passes thru the firewall under the heater box (throught a gromet) and connects to the same fitting as the power brake vac line.  The control cable exits trrough the fire wall next to the brake booster, runs accross above the wiper motor and voltage reg. makes a 90 degree turn toward the front and connects to the water valve.  It is held by a clip on top of the valve.  Best I can remember.
