I though that i would share my engine with my fellow american friends.
Actually i bought it from my friend who raced many years ago. He built this engine 9 years ago. (Last race 2001). So really, this is "old school" engine. After that it has only been freshened with new bearings and gapless rings and new set of custom made roller rockers. I just had to check it and buy few new parts.
Few specs:
15:1 comp ratio
x-block filled with "concrete"
mopar steel crankshaft with chevy bearings, custom stroke.
BME pistons 4.10
BME aluminium rods
Crane Cams roller 328/336, 0.707/0.693 camshaft
Heads heavily ported and modified by a swedish guy 15years ago. w2, flow approx.330cfm/28"
titanium 2.10 intake valve and 1.67 exh.valve
Intake manifold made by the same swedish guy.
JIR-adjustable timing belt drive system, designed and made by my friend 15years ago. (I think no one had timing belt system for sbm 15 years ago?)
oil pump driven by a belt
JIR-roller rockers, designed (copied from harland sharp and jesel) by my friend, 1.7ratio.
msd 7al, crank trigger
2x750cfm holley dominator, no power valves.
Sorry i dont have dyno sheets because it was dynoed about 9 years ago. They told me it made 750hp/575ft-lbs and huge power at 5500-8500rpm. I can believe it.
