Thumping Sound While Turning Left

I was driving my car in the rain today and noticed that sometimes when I turned left, there was a thump sound kind of like a dent popping but a lower pitch. There are no differences in handling when it happens only the sound. The car tracks nice and straight. Any Ideas?

New wheels or freshly balanced tires?  Could be a weight rubbing on the inside if so.

Sometimes a warn ball joint will pop like that when you turn. That's what I'd check first.

Check your front sway bar links if you have them.

My sway bar is disconnected and only connected by the strut rods. I guess it could be hitting the K-frame.

I found it! It was a can rolling around in the trunk.
