In search of Cuda/Barracuda project car
« on: March 27, 2009 - 11:25:40 AM »
Hey Everyone. I am new to CC and just recently started getting into Mopar Cars. I am searching for a 70-71 Barracuda/Cuda. 4 speed setup would be nice, but can convert. Even if it is a rolling shell, that would be ok too! Let me know if you have one, or know where i could possibly get one. Any help would be wonderful!

Welcome to cc.com!  '70 and '71 cars definitely will be more money than the '72-4 cars.  If you're on a budget, you might consider any year . . .  :dunno:

Enjoy the site!

Thanks. Budget for the car would just depend on the car. how solid it was. but would be looking to spend 5-10 for a decent rolling shell. this would be on my back burner until i complete my other car. but i just want to find one before there are no more left!

Yeah. I was watching a 1969 Firebird with the 68 nose and front section. I was watching it. Miscalculated the time left, and missed the final bid. The final bid only went up $25.00  :crying: I felt like a loser.

Sorry guys. I know it's a mopar thread but who could resist that oldschool firebird :bigshades:

What do you guys think about a 71 340 4 spd cuda that needs alot of work done to it? needs full floors, some frame rails. both quarters replaced. There is one on Ebay right now. Kinda seems expensive for all the work that it needs. has fiberglass fenders and such, which i would get different ones probably. 340 not numbers matching and no transmission? Heres the link to it.

I would offer 5k at most and have him chuck the motor. its not a numbers car and you can put anything in it you want later. I'm glad you can do your own work cuz thats a bit of a project there. You might want to keep looking though since this economy is really bringing some of the project cars out into the sun for sale...
