we went up and down the strip, pulled into the parking lot you guys said beside the hotel, seen Rob, then Kay had to leave so we went back to the resteraunt where the truck was, I left the car there and walked back down to the hotel and looked around, couldn't find anyone, so I watched for awhile then left

Yea, when we went to find a spot in that parking lot there was none. We ended up in Best Buy parking lot, and we barely found a spot there. I saw you cruise up, and down 79. To many people, I could'nt get your attention.

We set up in the swap meet for Friday and Saturday. We keep track of sales year to year, and we were down 18%. You could tell attendance was down, but it seemed like a lot of cars, so maybe just the spectator count was down. That and people just spending less on things they don't need (we sell 1:18 Mopars). Had fun though, as always.

Oh ya... golf carts. As a spectator/buyer in the swap area I understand wanting to use one. Being a newbee I don't want to anger those that use them, yet from a swapper/seller/business point of view - take a moment to look where you park. There were times people had a tough time getting in to our spaces...

That's quite a way from the hotel Scott.  We were sitting right by the hotels' Quality Inn sign, in the grass.  There were so many people there that I didn't see you either. We were right next to the van that was protesting the red light cameras. Look for us next year in the same spot and come to the back lot after the cruise gets shut down.

Next year, I am going to bring down a truck. I am going to leave it there all weekend, no more parking problems. I may just put a bed on our C-60 and bring it down.

Heck, I must have been sitting almost right next to you because I was just about 40ft south of the camera protesters Saturday night.

When you guys come in for the nats, you really need to start looking into the Mount Vernon area. It is a pretty safe little town, and we are really not far from the nats at all. No farther than Zanesville, or Columbus by the time you get through all the traffic. I think it took me a half hour to get there this year, I can make it quicker but I was just kind of cruising along. Our hotels are usually never filled, we have quite a few hotels. Only about 3 or 4 are worth staying in. The rest are all older, about half run down.

Rob, It is ashame as i really like talking to you.

Everyone likes talking to me and me them. You should have seen the blonde that I talked into getting topless in my car for some GREAT pictures, then I (we) talked her out of her clothes and she swam naked across the pool.   We enjoyed all of the pictures that I had her pose for but we quickly deleted all of the evidence.   Nothing could come from saving those pictures but T-R-O-U-B-L-E.           What a fun weekend!
Here she is sitting in my car.
