Man, my love of milk and cheese would do me in quicker than my love of a good venison steak. My hats off to you, to me that is quite a sacrifice but I imagine that to you it just makes good sense.
Its was real tough at first...my family has 4 butchers, and all I ate was meat meat meat. I thought my Vegetarian freinds were insane. These days with a better understanding, and the fact they make anything under the sun to replicate meat and dairy, its has become real easy. It also has opened the door to many international foods that I most likely would have turned my nose up at.
My girlfreind thinks I'm nuts, and my Grandpa would always try to feed me pepperettes, telling me they were vegetables (they weren't - its was our litte joke). He was a butcher all his life and the only one in my family, aside from my parents that understood. Ironic.
