The day is getting closer about a week away from having my 70 Challenger shell blasted. I will finally turn the corner and start on the long journey of putting things back together.
Aside from the obvious stuff like getting the car in primer ASAP what do I need to have ready to put back in place?  What do I have to have to keep the project moving ahead and not get bogged down in waiting for other pieces to be finished?
 Things I have ready to go back in/on the car include
Engine rebuilt
Master and booster ready
Bumpers
Steering Column and wheel
Seatbelts
Radio
Most wiring harnesses
Taillight bezels

I have a problem with getting ahead of myself with restoration on parts I will not need for awhile. That’s why I have the taillight bezels ready but not the dash pad.

 Help me with a list of stuff I need right after I’m blasted

I'd get a kit to rebuild the front end next .That plus whatever you have planned for the rear end so you can get it back on wheels . :clapping:

Are you assembling the car in primer and painting later or is this for after the body and paint is done?

Good question !

I would assume that it would be easier to paint while everything is still off the car. Right? How would they have done it at the factory?
For right now I would lean towards the paint and body being done first and assembling after.
