Another Rainy day
« on: March 28, 2009 - 03:23:31 PM »
We all got up early to go to a small local car show put on for a local charity today.  It was a little cloudy this morning but i went ahead and washed the car so we could go.  As soon as we got there the rain started and cars began to leave.  Instead we decided to go buy the new James Bond movie and spend the day in front of the tv.  Everyone around here is always complaining... we need more rain!  I am freakin tired of it.  Im ready for summer.   Anyways we made the best of it, took some pics on the way home.  My son fell asleep with a chicken nugget in his hand...  My wife hates when i take her picture so i took some and posted them on here to agravate her.  I now you guys hate threads without pictures so gere ya go.

Looks as if you got your car washed again.  Glad you made the best of it.  You have  a good looking family and you can tell that she does not like her picture taken.  I am tired of the rain around here also need to move my stuff but the ground is so wet that a truck would sink in the mud.  I hope to get things moved soon.
Got a pretty good start on my M46 optioned Barracuda restoration but now it is on hold till I can gather more funds.  Still need a few parts for it.  SIU Graduate 75 AAS Automotive Tech, 94 BS Advanced Tech Studies, 1997 MSED Workforce Education and Development

Even on a rainy day that car looks great.  Having your wife (and son) with you = priceless!

You're definitely getting the evil eye in the second to last picture.  Glad you still had some fun.

Cute family!

As for the rain, we average 13 feet of it here a year. If anyone REALLY wants to complain about rain, I suggest you move here.

:2thumbs: The "charity" shows are always the best ones to cruise into, we try to make all of them we can. One show in particular a couple years ago was for a young girl who was in need of like five or six stages of operations because of a birth defect. There was only like maybe 150 cars at the most, and as I recall through donations, auctions, etc. they raised like near $3000.00. No one could beleieve it. For some reason they still judged the cars and handed out trophies  :dunno:  We were awarded one, I took it up to the DJ and said, here auction this off and put the money in the with the rest. That got mixed reactions  :roflsmiley: but beleieve it or not it brought $50.00. Then a couple other guys did the same thing, but can you beleieve some "snobs" put up a big ragg fuss about it.

BTW, ya got a real nice family there.
