I saw their demonstration where it supposedly seeps into the metal under heat. Of couse what kind of "mystery metal" it was, I have no clue. Logically I don't see how it's possible.  :grinno:

I personally dont 'believe' in oil additives. It's a simple fact. If you need to add additives to your existing oil, you have an oil thats the wrong application for your engine, or the oil is lacking in 'something' that the engine needs. Z-Max was also sued I believe for false adverstising. I wouldnt use it.

Shelby is nothing but a money whore.  He sticks his name on anything and everything if it will make him a buck.  God bless him for being able to do it, but his name means nothing to me  :2cents: .

Just a week or two ago I saw a couple of guys (2 guys and a garage I think it was) doing a rebuild,
and this made me laugh - had squirted or coated the pistons/pins with that stuff and had them on a
griddle or some heat source in order to reach the "operating" temp of that stuff before putting the
engine together  :roflsmiley:

He probably does, it might have been part of his contract with them to be furnished with a gas card for life  :smilielol:

Actually my Dad used it in his Audi the first time when he had about 180,000 miles on it.  It took the audi from 18mpg to approx 25mpg.  Probably got rid of alot of the carbon deposits......  I personally use it on my wife's toyota van once every year or so.  I like it, but its not cheap.

The metal on the show looks like real porous Aluminum. I don't see it seeping into Iron like that, especially the hardened cylinder walls.

It may help clean though like someone just said.
