Stainless trim paint

Anybody paint their stainless trim around the windows, I want to paint the rear black. What did you have to do. Thanks

You should scuff it up then spray a self-etching primer, but just be darn sure this is what you want to do, because you can't go back once it's done.

Just want it to blend in with the rear louvers which cover the glass only I,m not sure yet if i,m going to paint them yet.

I think that SEM Trim Black is designed to be used for stainless trim.

If you decide to go this route please consider picking up a set in rough shape to scuff and paint.  Nice sets are NOT cheap nor easy to find anymore.

Also, the original was textured (stamped that way).  So, I would recommend a textured paint.  I am actually going to have my set powder coated with a textured paint.

Here is a picture of the original trim for under the louvers...
