Not to butt in but I am looking for the same thing for my 73 challenger. If I find anything I will let you know. I am about ready to replace with a vintage air just to be done with the search. Any help here would be great to PM ME.  :1zhelp:

Hey guys, thanks for all the input.

I think I have found one locally, through a guy on Moparts. Just waiting for confirmation.

I saw the ones on ebay...wow little out of my price range! :money:

Which ones and how many? The clips that hold the cardstock to the body, hold the body halves together or the mount the control clips?

I might have something.

Slotts

Hey Slotts, I need the clips that hold the two havles of the box together.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Jas

If you're missing a couple, I could help you out. If you need the whole set, I'll check into that to see what's available.

Let me know.

Hey Guys,

Try www.Megapartsusa.com I got some repro vent cables from them for the '70 Challenger I'm working on. You might have to give them a call on the heater cable. They also have the clips for the cables and the heater box I believe. Their site does not have a search function so look under 'heating/cooling' or 'interior'.

hey Slotts,

I do not see any on my heater box right now, so I guess I will need a whole set.

Very well, I have contacted my source and he is not sure what stock he has. He was out of town and would let me know over the weekend. These, if he has them, would be a new set of both large and small clips.
I'll keep you posted.

My defrost/heat cable plastic clip on the control side broke also. I repaired it and it works great.
I took a brake line clamp 5/16 and formed it tight around where the broken tab was. I drilled the mounting hole throught the clip and re-attached it. It does not slip or bind!
Best of all the fix was free!
