Has anyone ever called your challenger a charger??

Well after a trip to my local checker the counter guy says"nice challenger" and then said "looks like an rt" i said "thanks" and then he asks if i have the "6.1" i stopped and said" you do know this is and old challenger right?", he was a bit stunned to say the least,and someone did the same thing on you tube but i think he is too embarrased to reply back

i also have a buddie by his own admission that he still thinks i have a charger and i have had the car since 1992 and he still says "how is your charger" its ok with me cause he had a mustang and i always asked" how is your fairlane?" and he has a camaro which means comrade in french or friend so i always ask him "how is your friend the corvair?"

Just the other day, sold my crotch rocket to a kid and he said if I'm ever selling the charger let him now.  I just laughed and said ok.  Then his dad said thats a nice ford, looking at my satellite, and said what is it a galaxies.  I can see the kid being wrong, he was 18, but the dad was 45.

no **** ... i had the same problem ... my insurance reads 71 Dodge Charger R/T lol

My Cuda has been called everything in the book... Camaro, Mustang and even a Charger. Go figure!!

I have found the average joe only knows hemi and the duke boys all else is just junk ,but my cuda has been called a camaro quite often and thats a refreshing change .

I think the question should be, "Who hasn't had their Challenger called a Charger??"

Funny thing was the other day a guy pulled up to the local cruise in, looked at my 440 and asked if it was a 6 cylinder. I thought he was kidding until I heard him ask some other questions to some of the other car owners!! He wasn't a kid either. I just laughed at the guy because he was arrogant and was trying to argue with my buddy about his 1967 Chevy II. He is the original owner and knows the car inside & out. Some people!!

we should all pick a day and take our challengers out for a drive and then see if anyone DIDNT get theirs called a charger       or cuda, camaro, mustang ect.

i always used to get asked if i was the guy with the chargers.i have cudas.i also had a guy ask what year corvette i had in the yard.he was talking about the superbird.
