Hm, looks like we are in for bad weather
« on: April 02, 2009 - 01:24:16 PM »
Schools getting out early. The clouds look wicked, wind is going crazy. They say possible tornadoes. Like we need this right now.  At least I got my generator up and running again. Hope I don't need it, but it does look bad outside.

What part of the country do you live in? I grew up in the panhandle of Texas and we always had tornadoes. Here in Fort Worth though the news goes crazy even over the slightest funnel cloud.

Al is some 50 miles above Birmingham in north central Alabama, i'm about 90 miles south of Birmingham where so far there's been less than an inch worth of rain accumulated.

Stay safe folks

not that i wish tragedy, or disaster on anyone, but share the moisture!! hahaha

my poor lawn is like walking on corn flakes!!   :stomp:
even the hounds look around when they walk outside, wondering what the noise is.

This rain will bring all the poisonous snakes and critters out. It was almost 80 degrees and things are budding. Nothing like fire ants to. I fight those suckers every year. I have already killed dozens of wasps :stomp:

wow, we dont have all that drama here when it rains. fireants, yea, thats all the time.
i usually just get a scoop of em from a neighboring nest and toss it on, they hate each other, and soon wipe each other out. we only have a 1/2 acre, but they are easy to control.

wasps and such, sheesh, i pity you, now send me the rain, and youll be even better off!!   :2thumbs:

Taking ants from other nests kill each other? I've never heard of that.

Al, You're dodging tornadoes and I'm expecting to see reindeer any time now. :dunno: :clueless: I'd rather be dodging those tornadoes. Have you got a storm cellar buddy?

Be careful in Me-he-co. I hear the tornadoes don't like gringos. :poopoke:
Don't look back, I might be gaining on you.
