Amazing pics!  You don't see anything like that in San Diego - almost anything that old was stripped or sent south to Mexico as soon as it hit the salvage yard.  When I first started going to Tijuana back in the late 80's, half the cabs down there were 1971-74 Coronets and Satellites - and there are a lot of cabs in TJ.

Neat pictures! I always like to look around old junk yards at the old cars.

awesome pics  :woo:    the snow makes it look weird... esp. those verts in the last series... great  :2thumbs:
yards like that always make me feel kinda greedy  :dunno:  I`d love to adopt some of those cars, but in real life I`m having enough problems to just get my Cuda done...
there are no yards like that around here... in fact, it`s not very likely you will find a pre 1980 car in a yard anywhere out here.  This has always been a "clean " country, when it comes to old cars,  but the last remains vanished very quickly a few years ago when scrap prices went skyhigh...  :walkaway:
thanks for posting  :clapping:

Lots of old 50's metal.
Imagine what was there before the 1400 were taken away.
Were prices pretty cheap there?
Did you find any old hemi's in those cars?
That hurst is pretty cool.

there were a few Red Ram Hemis, and some small 1 and 2 bbl hemis. The guy is a few apples short of a bushel IMO. He wants a ton of money for the things people have offered him money for before but he has no idea what anything is worth. He was asking my opinion on prices he had been offered for stuff. I think there are some deals to be had, but its just going to depend if anyone else has ever been interested in it.

sure didnt man...never even thought about it. And i also wont ever be going back over there because he told me that he wanted 75 bucks for the clutch pedals and i had to pull them, well i get there and he says "oh yea uhh....im gonna have to have 150 for the pedals now" so i told him he could keep the &^$@# things and i left.

Though outrageously overpriced, if I ever hit the jackpot, I'll be contacting you for directions as I'd love to get my hands on some of the things in your pics. Awesome!
