Enjoying??? :puke:

You could definitely build a nice a-body from that last yard.

Most of them are pretty rusty but there are a few that could be built, he basically has anything you could ever need for a 70-76 dart, duster, scamp, valliant, dart sport.  No sharktooth grilles tho, thats probably the only thing he doesnt have. He does have a few 70-72 dart grilles that are MINT.

So i was driving down the road today and i saw a few cars about 100 yards off the road in the edge of the woods on some country road. so i turned aroudn to take a look, the guy had about 10 old cars, 2 mid 70's blazers, a 67?? AMC marlin, some big pontiac, late 60's chevy suburban and this old hunk of crap nova, what cought my attention about the nova was it was red with yellow (factory appearing) stripes going down the side of it. they got about 1 foot away from the end of the car and went straight up over the declid and connected, and i thought to myself i have seen that stripe somewhere, that is an SS stripe or something, so i got home and googled nova stripe and the stripe the car has on it is a YENKO stripe!!!!!!!!!!!! the cars were still about 20 yards off the road inside of a fence so i didnt get a close look at them, my dad knows the guy that owns the property right next to them so im going to try to find out who owns the cars. I will also have A LOT more pics to post next week, I am going to visit an old junkyard that crushed out years ago but still has about 20 old cars left just scattered thru the woods.

Got a closer look at the car today    still no pics    it has the yellow yenko style stripe, but it has this nastly looking faded brown stripe going down the side of it too that i coundt see from the road, Guess its not a yenko :crying:  Just some nasty looking custom paint job.

It looks more like this one. I dont think that it had any writing in it though, its so faded and rusty that its hard to tell though. Ill try to get a pic tomorrow. but since it also has the brown stripe its probably just some custom job. Also i found 2 more old stockpiles of cars in the woods down some dirt road, one place is almost nothing but 50's (has about 30 cars) and the other place is all 70ish stuff ( looks to be anywhere from 100-250 cars, they are just lined up thru the woods farther then the eye can see so no telling how many there are), there arent any houses nearby so no way to really tell who owns them. Ill take some pics of them from the road tho and post them.

What a disaster Jefferson was....

The long suburban like truck looks like an international.  They had ones like that.

That's an International Travelall - about a '72 or '73.

Those are pretty rare - even here in SoCal, I don't see them very often - less often than '60's Sweptsides and the like.  There are far more International Scouts out there.

Desirable is always a function of the individual.  The real question is are they considered valuable?  That appears to be a 1/2 ton chassis.  For 1972, the NADA guide lists them with a retail price range of $3825 - $15,400, with an average value of about $8100.

http://www.nadaguides.com/default.aspx?LI=1-22-1-5013-0-0-0&l=1&w=22&p=1&f=5014&y=1972&m=1285&d=7611&c=10&vi=93428&da=-1

If it's a 3/4 ton, the value goes up about $1000.
