What really erks me is the mantra that there is a scientific concensus that "man-made" global warming is real....THERE IS NO CONCESUS!  The models that James Hansen, the godfather of G.W. uses have been found to have major database errors which normally would totally discredit any research scientist.  Al Gore routinely tells inaccuracies and is forced to change his sermons to be less deceptive.  This is more of a left-wing political religion IMHO.

Just wondering? Are these the same Morons that brought you the THERORY of carbon dating and the evolution THERORY? :dunno: :screwy:

I am all for conservation and not destroying our natural resources, but global warming just has no factual hard data to back it up. Volcanoes do far more to effect the climate than man could ever do. Carbon emission taxes?? Come on. Cow gas?? What a pile of manure :poopoke:Ther's more natural gas released from the ocean floor than Elsie The Cow will ever produce!! I've got some 'gas' for Al Gore. Take a wiff of that Al and tell me if it gave ya a warm feeling, it sure warmed my pants!!! :smilielol: :smilielol: :smilielol: :roflsmiley: :roflsmiley: :roflsmiley:

 :roflsmiley: That's pretty funny!!

I can't help but jump in on this one. I'm not criticizing anyone for using the term believe in all of this but myself, I don't believe in global warming, I used to believe in Santa Clause, I believe in God, believing in something is more like having faith or something along those lines. This has turned into a religion of sorts for many who just jump on the political bandwagon and say they believe in global warming. The question was actually asked in one of the presidential candidate debates by the liberal news person who was conductiong the debate, the very first question out of their mouth was "by raise of hands, how many of you believe in global warming"? Fred Thompson spoke up and made them sound pretty foolish for even asking the question. Anyway, interesting to hear others thoughts on this, I need to go out and shovel the snow off the driveway. If this warming is coming, I'd sure like it to get here pretty soon cause I believe if I have to go out and shovel the dang driveway one more time, I'm going to croak!!

Yall, its not called global warming anymore. Now it is conveniently renamed "Climate Change". Al gore is such an idiot. South park makes fun of him so well!

On another note, its 90 degrees right now here in Texas. I love it! I've had my AC on for 2 months now!

My point is science and /or the government all to often tries to make fact out of unproven theories. It all revolves around money and power as usual.

When you can politisize climate you can use it to advance your agenda regardless of warming, cooling, more storms, less storms, drought, floods, etc.  Think about it!  :22yikes:

Yes the earth's climate is changing. It always does. Most people think of the earth of a big rock but it is living breathing life form. Just read about the earths past. We had mulitiple Ice Ages which are followed by global warming. We have had 5 MAJOR extintions. One in which 95% of ALL LIVING THINGS died. There were no greenhouse gases then. We need to put Al Gore in JAIL for stating all this nonsense and filling his own pocket with kickback monies from large companies making millions off this hoax.

To RARE_T_A and 340 Challman,  if those are pictures of global warming in your respective areas, you guys wouldn't survive global cooling.....     :smilielol:      :smilielol:    :roflsmiley:    :roflsmiley:

I just got back from my Mother's house where I had to use a backhoe to remove a 3 ft. high 75 ft long drift completely covering her driveway. Oldschool, I believe you are correct, If we had cooling combined with Wyoming wind, I'm outa here.
