Fast and Furious was awesome
« on: April 04, 2009 - 02:23:07 AM »
I just got done seeing the 4th installment of the fast and the furious saga, and I have to say it absolutely rocked! I am thinking about going and seeing it again.   :burnout:

I haven't seen it yet because I've been sick (feeling better now thank god). In the preview, they showed them wrecking the Roadrunner...did that happen in the movie? Also, did the Charger get wrecked again?

Not gunna spoil anything. You  will have to see. I will say the ending was pretty sweet. I might just go see it again.

Oh and while we were waiting to get into the movie, my friend asked one of the employees if she could have the giant cardboard Fast and Furious promo sign and he said yes. Here is a pic of it. With my firends trying to figure how to dismantle it for transport.

Geeze, I didn't even know it was out yet.  I thought it was going to be a summer flick.  :faint:  I like to wait for the DVD anyhows.  That's for the update!

This one is worth seeing in the theater, unless you have something like a 60" plasma, Blu-Ray and surround sound.

I didn't like the other ones, especially the first one with all the rice burners. The only part I liked out of any of them was the second one where they have to cheat to beat the classic cars.

There's a lot more American muscle in this one.

Didnt live up to the hype.  If you're on the fence about going, rent it.

Hmm, I was planning on watching it relatively soon.  Two of my friends went last Thursday and said they both loved it (non-car enthusiasts who are Dutch and Sicilian), so I think Ill still go check it out after mid-terms are over.  Thanks for the feedback from everyone who watched it.

Eventually, I'll probably see it. But I'm really disgusted about the engines actually used to move the cars, it's SBC for all the muscle cars, which is putting me off seeing it right now. Well, it's that, and the fact that I'm at sea, with four and a half week until I come home.
