    Below are pics of what I believe are SE top rear qtr trim pieces for Challenger Convertibles.   One has a fastener hole where as the other does not.... is one for a '70 and the other for a 71?   Of is there another mystery....

    One is shorter than the other. Loke the bottom one is cut. Doesnt even look like the same part, but could be the angle

    What you have there is not SE chrome.  It is strictly convertible only pieces that were used both on Challenger and Barracuda, the one with the screw hole is for 1971 Barracuda and Challenger, and the one without the screw hole is for 1970 Barracuda and Challenger.

    The short "J" shaped pieces were available on base model Convertibles.  These longer pieces were available with a trim code option when door top moldings were ordered. There is no such thing as a SE convertible Challenger :2thumbs:

    Just to add a little info to hemikens’s post cuda and challenger ones are different. Challenger ones are flat and cuda ones have a crown and are not as wide .

    Doug I think you have the cuda trim can you test fit it to your challenger and see if it lays flat?
    My trim is 1.5 inches wide atthe door, how wide is your trim?  3\4 of an inch would be my would guess.  :dunno:

    Are you adding the wide door trim to your challenger or are you just missing all the pieces?
    I see you are looking pretty hard for them I wish I had an extra set to help you out.  :thumbsup:

    Thanks again to everyone for sorting this out.    I know the short (base model) ones are available --does anyone know of a source for the upgraded ones shown above for a 1970 Challenger?

    Hemiken:   I understand now  ;)  your point about there not being an SE Convertible and the differences between the Cuda/Challenger and '70/71 quarter panel trim pieces.    What about the top door moldings -- are they different than the SE moldings used for regular Challenger SE coups?   Also, is with the special molding package on a convertible, does this change the rear window trim or is it the same as a base model?

    Doug,

    The molding is the same on hard tops and convertibles there is no molding on a convertible back window only molding that surrounds the top connecting the belt molding. (it’s the same wide molding or the short stuff.)

    The codes on your fender tag should be A63 & M31 for the wide stuff and SE style trim.

    I like it!    Interesting that they are re-poping the upgraded (SE?) Cuda fender belt trim pieces - but not the Challenger.   Wonder if this has to do with cost -- or number of cars that they came on (i.e. sales potential)?
