A/C Heater Box

Well it's another challenge ahead. I pulled out my heater box today to rebuild it before I install. Looks like the paint shop was a little rammy when they pulled it out Any ideas on how to rebuild or do I need to look for the backside of the box?? I wonder if i bought a fiberglass repair kit do you think I could repair it  .

I would look for a replacement , but I am sure you could fix it with some time & patience , the bonus is the repair would not be seen

Here is what I did. Hopefully it works out. Shouldn"t be able to see anything once I'm done the resto.  I do have the one question about my heater box. Does anyone know where the one line that I am pointing to hook? It's the one with the white Bubble(Check valve??) on the control side.

That appears to be the vacuum supply line that goes through the firewall and hooks to engine vacuum.

Hope this helps. Its the rubber plug that is held on by 3 screws below the fan motor.

On mine, the pass-thru vacuum line is made into the grommet.

This is a pretty old thread but it's the only one I found about fiberglass repair on the heater box.

I'm working on an AC box and there are some cracks that should be pretty easy to repair but the problem I'm mainly trying to fix is the AC drain. It's one of the small ~1" pipes that comes out of the box. I bought this box a long time ago and it came missing most of the little pipe. What can I use to repair/replace the pipe? How would you recommend the repair be done? I've never done any fiberglass repair. What products would be recommended for the job.

Also, is the rubber gasket that is pretty thick that goes between the box and the cowl available? I have the DMT AC box rebuild kit and I didn't see it in there.
