    In my opinion I think the seller did fine. That car has lot wrong with it - looks to be a quickie resto.

    Truthfully, I think that is about the right price for a 383 car.  I don't think it's a sad day for anyone except the owner's daughter who obviously loves the car judging by the smile on her face sitting therre in the driver's seat.

     I have a numbers matching 1970 Challenger R/T, also a 383 car, and I will be ecstatic if I get close to that dollar amount when I finish it.  I think speculators have ruined our hobby by driving the prices up to a point where the average Joe could not afford his dream car even if it was a "just 383 car" he/she wanted not to mention the Six Pack and Hemi Cars.

    A decent selling price for a 383 car with a color change, etc.   :2cents:
    A buddy of mine was trying to sell his very nice U code automatic FC7 '70 cuda (I think it is #'s matching) last summer asking in the 50's and didn't have a single inquiry to his ads.

    Concidering what I paid for my 72 Cuda two years ago that sounds like an awesome deal!! I was on of those poor suckers that thought I was had one last chance to own my dream car before prices went any higher. Boy was I wrong!!

    I finally got to see the pics. I dont see anything wrong with that car. Besides a color change it looks like a cool car to me with nothing obvious missing  :dunno:

    convertables are still grabbing top dollar(although i'm not a vert fan)

    I think it`s great the prices have come back down to somewhat affordable.The engine bay has a few things wrong and no underneath pics.  :dunno:

    I still don't think they are  affordable, you can buy an equivelent camaro or mustang for around 20k or less. I don't want these prices to fall anymore than they already have, unless i'm buying lol

    Supply and demand.  There are more Camaros and Mustangs out there, so the Mopars are more expensive.

    Personally, I'd like to see the prices continue to drop so the people who really love the cars can buy them again.
