Question to the members across the pond.  I see quite a few of you are from Finland, Sweden, England, Australia et al.. How did you come about being Mopar fans? How did you find the cars you own? Did you fly over to the states? Were Mopars sold and shipped to these countries back in the 70's?

I'm curious.

Both of my challengers are E-bay buys, my ex-challe in states and this new one in Finland.  Both are export cars in states, and that ex one was in E-bay auction there in states. I know couple of people who are professional in car import here in Finland, so i only need to order car and they looking for it there in States.  :ebay:  For me, some movies and finnish car magazines are the reason, why i am Mopar fan.  In 1989 i see one story about '71 dodge challenger in finnish car magazine ( V8-magazine ), and that story chance my life, and then there was no other way than get some day own challenger.  :worshippy And these 20 years my love for E-bodies has only grow.  :woo:

I think, it goes somewhere near Hanko, in south coast it at least goes.  :walkaway: I sell it same person who's import it for me, and he sell it there. I think, it is same challe, that is for sale in Overdrive site. Two years without challe is long long time, and i am happy it's over soon.  :2thumbs:

I've now thinking couple of days about her colour, and will stay for that, what fendertag says. So, she will be FE5 red, with black vinyl top and with that black stribe.  :2thumbs: I think, that original compo is worth of saving, and there is not too much with same colour challes around.

Ya I know what you mean, work sometimes gets in the way of the fun stuff.  :hyper: But the bills have to be paid and we have to eat   :violin: Good luck with the start of your project and send pics of your progress.  :2thumbs: I started taking my motor apart yesterday and I`am going out to finish it right away. I`am putting in a Lunati Voo-Doo cam and lifters and going to get Chryco Psycho to polish and port the heads and put in larger exhaust valves. Should wake it up a little more over the Comp. cam that is in it  :ylsuper: and still look stock. :2thumbs:  :stirpot: Well got to go out to the garage and get at it  :working: Talk to you soon.       KEN    northern  :canada:

Congrats on the Chally!

That has got to be one rare and exotic car over there.  Even here in So. Cal they are extremely rare.  It has been years since I have seen one on the road outside of a car show.
