I have no funds coming in right now. Been trying to find a job but it's been hard. That's why I'm building models for people, to get some funds for my projects.

I am in high school so really the only bills i have are my gas and insurance so i use my paycheck from work to fund most of it. Also i buy old junkers and part them on ebay (You can make pretty good money doing that if you can get the junkers cheap)

Im telling you guys if you know of an old parts car laying around buy that thing and part it out, you can make alot of money if you salvage EVERYTHING possible, and ill tell you what there is some good money in and that is early (64-68) mustangs, there isnt a lot that brings a bunch of money but you can nickel and dime a mustang till there is nothing left. When I buy a car I usually part it for 3-5 times what i paid for it. Mopars make good money but anymore whoever has it wants an arm and a leg for it just because it is a mopar. I have sold over 1000 of the chevelle in the pics and most of the expensive stuff is still there, mainly the front clip, i have sold over 800 off the challenger and still have a lot of stuff left also

I work on Wallstreet.....Just kiddin'  I work a good bit of overtime when I can get it. A weekend's worth of OT is a quick easy grand for me. I used to sell a lot of antiques on Ebay (but Ebay isn't what it used to be) as I used to own an antique shop. Just like parting out cars, I can go to an estate auction, pick up a circa 1900 bow front china cabinet for say $600 bucks (on a good night) and sell it for $1000.00-1,200.00 bucks. Not bad money. Yard sales are even better. It's finding the right yard sale and merchandise. I've found stuff at yard sales for under 10 bucks that sold for hundreds!! But with the economy now, not a lot of folks buying antiques.

I do side-jobs for people and consulting.  I also won $500 at the poker table last weekend that is going to my car  :grinyes:.  Use any and every skill you have to make extra money.  There is some one out there that needs your services, be it auto mechanic, specific trade, consulting, mowing lawns, washing cars, etc.

I have a bridgeport mill and a nice lathe plus some other equipment. I make parts for the stock car crowd and some street rodders and Harley guys. I'm very glad to have the equipment,as it has saved my bacon over the years!

You can always sell your own blood.  It would give new meaning to all the "blood, sweat and tears" you put into the restoration.

I try to pull as many side jobs as possible. I just started a small job for a local car club - a vintage display for Autorama.
My other side job is furniture design. I started some concepts for a company, which was going to be very lucrative. Unfortunately, they felt like they could not take the risk at this time given the economic strain. They suggest that I pursue another company that can take the risk. Anyway, that was my source.
Drawing, design, layout.... You name it. Spare parts... Whatever it takes.
I think we
