I now have an office main job, but I still do as much sidework as possible.  Mostly cars and light trucks, but I also fix construction equipment and pretty much anything else with an engine and/or electronics or computers.  Pinpoint diagnosing and repairing automotive control modules and other electronics devices has been paying off pretty big lately for me.  Basically I fix anything technology related.

My dad got in a fender bender in the Cuda (actually still has neck problems from it) and so we got a good pay out for damages and medical stuff. He also got a good bonus this last year.

So we are set on our one project.

Selling stuff locally or grabbing OT whenever possible plus side jos for the cash for parts.  For labour items I usually work trades in helping someone with their project for help on my cuda.

When I was back in high school, I found there's a really good market for vintage motorcycle parts.  As 70BurntOrangeT/A has mentioned, you can also find some parts cars for cheap and really make a killing on cleaning up some of the better parts then selling them for a very nice profit.  I really wish we had more old cars that weren't completely rusted out around WI so I could step up from motorcycles to cars.

I would go yard hopping looking for parts to re sell but out here it's all foreign cars. Nearest good yards are almost 2 hours away in central valley. Then that's a stab in dark finding something worthy of selling at a small profit.

I tried whoring myself out to local women.

That didn't work out as well as I'd hoped.

It's a bit of a dilemma for me right now. My project has been dragging for so long, but last year the guy who is doing it has gotten back in gear.  However I lost my job late last year.  I have a home equity line, and hadn't tapped it yet, so when he asked for money a month or so back I sent a check from that line.  Current interest rate is not much over 2%, so the payments will be minimal, for now.
I've had a lot of good luck in the past flipping some parts that I have some thorough knowledge of.  I mainly have found them on ebay, poorly listed, bad pictures, low buy it now, etc.  I once bought a part for 99 cents and relisted it on ebay a few months later with an accurate description and good pictures and got $295 for it!! :o
I'm still doing that a little, but its not easy to sell things for a good price now days.
I've probably funded (and swapped) for a large percentage of my parts for my T/A project that way, which is nice!
