I want to thank Sinister68 for the advice about the wheels first of all.

I then added covers to the brake calipers to make it look like I have some hi-end car.   :misbehaving:

Honda Civics, beware!!

They look GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  I want them so bad also but I told the wife I would wait till I sold enough stuff to pay for them.  I like the rear spoiler to. I've never seen one like before.

Looking good, Mike!

1972 Dodge Challenger Rallye 340, AT, Code TB3=Super Blue, SBD=8/17/1971.  Yes, a Rallye without the fender louvers from the factory because of the body side molding option.

Mike, that looks great, did you just swap rims out of the tires?  What size?

For the fun of it, it would be interesting to see what the cars look like if you swap the rims, putting the Rallies on the new Challenger and the bling rims on the '70...  :dunno:

Phil,

I don't know what the back-spacing is on the new wheels, but it doesn't seem like enough to fit the old Challenger. I think they would rub against the body.

Steve,

You asked an expensive question.   :bricks1: The original wheels on the car were 17". These new ones are 18"X 8" wide. The tire size is 60 series 225's. The nice thing though, is I can throw the old wheels back on for the winter so these new ones don't get a salt bath.

Mike is right, plus, they arent the same bolt pattern.  They'll bolt up, but they're enough off to stress the lugs.  Not good.

Thanks Mike.  I have 17's on my Mag also, thats why I was wondering if you just swapped out rims.  And yeah, good to keep the old ones around.  I've been looking at rims too, but I cant buy new.  Too much   :money:

Do they make chrome door handles?  Would really set it off.   :ylsuper:

 Thanks for the info guys!  Just was wondering what a New Challenger would look like with 15" Rallies on it.  :)

They do make chrome covers or the door handles. I wish the car they had used in this ad wasn't silver, as you can't get a real good idea of the contrast it would make.

As always Steve, I'm open to ideas.   :grinyes:  I might give those a shot.

Mike,
we're gonna have to draw the line at those 71 Charger style quarter window covers....  :misbehaving:

Like the wheels. so the red calipers are just covers?  :dunno:
