Faithful friend of 12 years died Friday
« on: April 07, 2009 - 09:41:10 PM »
My English Bulldog Tasia died Friday night after a seizure. She has been apart of our family for over 12 years and was like a child to us! This is honestly the worst my wife and I have felt in years. She will be very missed! To make matters worse my two year old Bulldog Lulu had to have emergency surgery Sunday and almost died as well! Turns out she is not the brightest bulb and decided to eat some hard plastic (amoung other things) that got stuck in her intestines. She just came home today and is doing much better. Very bad weekend to say the least and it was my Birthday too! This will be one I'd like to forget!!! :walkaway: :walkaway: :walkaway: :'(

RIP Tasia!

Thanks! She was the best!!! My wife loved to dress her up for Halloween as she loved children and got super excited every time the door bell rang to give out treats! Neighborhood kids came to out house just to see her!!

Sorry to hear your loss. It's a bummer when they go. 12 years was 12 years of good times your family shared. Just remember those good days to keep your head up. They're in a better place now.

For a bunch of us having a dog as a couple is the first step in learning how to be a parent. Nothing hurts like losing a loyal friend. Sorry for your loss.   :sadwavey:

Sorry to hear about your little pups, Dave.  :'(   Hope Lulu pulls through ok.

Dogs are like part of the family.  I remember when our dogs died, it was actually the first most heart breaking experience I had when I was little.  I was only like 7 when our first dog died.  That's when my Mom put me on her lap and told me about how little dogs go to heaven.  :)

When was your B-day?  Mine was April 3.  Good for me, sad for my aunt as my close uncle died last year on my b-day.  :dunno:

Sorry to hear that buddy, we put our dog of 15 years down last week.  One of the hardest things I've ever done, and never want to do it again.

Best wishes.

I am so sorry you lost Tasia, nothing I can say will make you feel any better right now.  Hopefully in time you will be able to smile when looking back on the memories of the times you shared with her.  Also, I am wishing a speedy recovery for Lulu.  I'll be thinking of you.

Pets quickly become our best friends through thick and thin, not matter what.  They are always so eager to please us and follow us around.  Sorry to hear of your loss and I hope your Lulu recovers quickly.  Focus on the good times Tasia shared with you and your family.
