    ok, i think ive got it. TDC and the mark is dead on "0"

    the distributor gear was off by a few teeth and all of the plug wires were moved over one space.  :clueless:

    anyway, im cranking it up sunday. hopefully all works out well.

    That has nothing to do with where the timing mark winds up with your timing light. It just puts the distributor in a "convienient" location with the vacume canister.  :grinyes:
