So... Whats my car worth in todays market???
« on: April 08, 2009 - 09:49:27 PM »
First let me say that i am not intereted in selling the car, just wondering what you guys think it is currently worth?  A few detail... JH23G0B, All numbers matching, broadcast ect...

Minus the few parts added to make the car look like a T/A, its all original.  Its a low optioned car.  318, 904, 8-3/4 EF8 w/Dark Green interior and vinal top, A/C, and a wood grained dash.  It is currently a dailydriver in very good condition,  It does have some miror bubbling in the typical areas, but nothing warrenting immediate attention.  I have all the original parts for the car except the flat hood, wheels, and air cleaner.  The car runs great and drives great and very reliable... and the a/c still runs on r12.  If you need more details for a good guess let me know...

Wow that looks Sweet. Real nice. Sorry I can't really be relied on for a value #, but I'd have to say around 20-25-thousand. In about 3-5 years the hole market will jump up again and they will be worth a lot more than they were 2 years ago. Kinda like what happened in the late 90's.

Yea they look kool and everything, but you always want to match the section width of the tire with the width of the rim.

Nice car. Is that rust bubbles under the vinyl top?  Not sure on the price. I am not a good judge for that. But the quotes seem a little high right now.

I saw a black rust-free '70 with all new interior and a 440 go for a little over 10K on Ebay a few weeks back on a no-reserve auction.

Really man one should be conserned about todays maket. The rich most likely caused it anyways. Because nothing is worth **** right now and the rich are buying up everything in site. Hang on to that baby if you can. When everything turns around you can bet everything will be worth alot more than before the bottom fell out of everything. :cooldancing:

The bubbles under the vinyl top arent really a big deal. If you ever take the vinyl top of just make sure you get all the rust out then fill the holes with fiberglass and get it pretty close. Aftermarket vinyl tops are thicker then originals and hide A LOT. I had the same problem with my car (even though i dont see the bubbles they are talking about) As long as you get all the rust out, and get the vinyl top put on really good, the metal underneath should never get wet again and the rust shouldnt come back.
