Nothing like a good cup of coffee, a ham sandwich, and a donut.  My brother and I live down south, but every time we visit our dad in Ohio, we come back with a couple of the 5 lb cans of their fine ground coffee.

Never, ever call a Canuck a Canadian, the propper term is "Canuckian". 

And even though Rob Wolf of MCG uses "eh" all the time when he writes about cars, he is not a Canuckian.

A toque (pronounced tuke) is a warm hat.

Molson means  , so does Moosehead. Blue (Labatts) on the other hand is a beer wannabe.

A napkin is a babies diaper, so ask for a serviette (sp) if you need to wipe your mouth at a restaurant.

Biscuts and gravy...what ever it is I havnt seen it up here! We have a bad habbit of putting gravy on lots of things but it wont look anything like that gravy. A case of beer is only a dozen a 1/2 case is called a six-pack and a 24(two-four) is the min personal amount for weekend Ice tea is from a mix (very sweet) not cold tea. Way up north we say hello by saying     " How's it going anyways eh?" and good bye is "take off eh"

   The accent is Newfie. You know small country, we all sound the same. (Canaduh is the largest country in the world, for an educational tidbit)

   Seriously, for all important  Canadian references just watch Strange Brew. Classic.

   Also, do not confuse "Canadian Tire" with "Canadian Attire".
 
   ...and if you hear the term "skid" its not a freeform paint job in your underwear, or a quick stop in your e-body, rather its a reference to being like someone from the movies FUBAR or Heavy Metal Parking lot.

   Watch out for spoiled Beaver when the Cougars are around. Have fun.

All I can say is if you're going anywhere remotely close to Nova Scotia, bring your laughter suit along.  I'll never forget the phone call I got from a guy "up der in Nova Scotia, eh? aboot" my former '69 Dodge Charger I had listed on the Internet.   It was the typical "Canadian stereotype" to the 'T'.  Here is some lingo I still remember from the conversation some 7-8 years ago (wow, I feel old!)
