x head flow numbers

This may be a long shot but does anyone have the flow numbers for unported X heads?

I have them from a stock set of '70 340 2.02" heads but I'll have to dig them out of my paperwork. They are a little better than the 1.88" valved heads but both can be drastically improved with porting.

I can't. When I first started building my car I always wanted a 340 with x heads on it, plus all the articles I've read say that 400 hp is more than doable with x heads and that's all I really need. (In this car)

Chryco is 100% right. The 308 exhaust ports are far superior to the old X/J heads. Looking at my old flow figures it looks like the 2.02 heads flowed about 15 more CFM than the smog 1.88 heads on the Intake side. 215cfm~ to 200~ Seeing how you can easily get 250cfm+ from a 1.88 head if you just install the bigger 2.02" valves and do some porting it makes little sense to go out of your way to find them. The 308 heads with the hardened exhaust seats and superior exhaust ports are the way to go.

I may pick up a set of 308 heads for another build, but this car is getting a 340 with x heads since they can make the power I need without a problem.
