« on: April 10, 2009 - 09:55:03 PM »
I have upgraded my ecu to a chrome box with a blaster 2 coil and the coil calls for a .8 ohm ballast i was going to order one but its has the 2 pins instead of the 4 pins i have now. So how do i convert my 4 pin to 2? thanks

Just connect the blue & brown wires to the single ballast , the green red trace wire is eliminated

I put one in a while back too.  Here is a picture to explain what Chryco is saying.
Your car will run better with this setup.  I noticed a huge improvement.

74-340-4speed, it looks like your voltage regulator had a little meltdown. You may want to change it if you haven't already. The components use that dielectric sandy epoxy for anti-vibration and cooling. Your charging system may fail if that is now a bare board.
