    What is this white thing and where/what does it connect too?

    My guess is a vent and it connects to the air cleaner.  But, I could be wrong.

    vent breather . It goes to the valve cover breather system. Like on a 70 ecs 3 nipple breather. Or if it is newer to the canister. I was just about to go shopping for a carb like that tonight on ebay :2thumbs:
