Another newbie from Ohio!
« on: April 13, 2009 - 10:01:12 PM »
So apparently all the newbs are from Ohio these days!  My name is Kirk and I live near Cleveland also...  I've had a '71 Challenger project car for more years than I'd like to admit and looking to get started on it again.  I've dragged it along with me through 4 moves and worked on it as time and family obligations allowed.  As you can see from the pictures I've still got a long way to go and have LOTS of questions.  Searching through the archives here there seems to be tons of good info on this site!

Nothing crazy, original 318 car.  I've got a '66 440 that I'm getting ready to go in it after I clean it up, paint it and put it back together!

Welcome....

You can't be Ohio, unless you are in Hawaii...

Welcome to the site.  Nice project you have there.  I understand all about having it more years than care to admit and dragging it from house to house - been there, done that.  Lots of good people here who can help you along on your project.

I was actually thinking about either gun metal gray or some other kind of silver...  The green just doesn't seem to do the trick for me  :lol2:

Looks like you  have a nice car to start with.   I like silver, it gives it a real clean look .

Was that the '08 Mopar Nationals in Columbus?  I'm pretty sure I saw your car there!  Great looking car and some good motivation for me to keep at it  :D

Welcome!

I'm not much of a green fan myself. I like the gunmetal plan!
