Who makes the best roof skin?

Ok here is a questions for you. I have seen both AMD and Goodmark offer a new roof skin. Which one is better?

The goodmark skin is relatively new and the AMD skin has been out for a while. It comes down to personal preference. unless your going to see both side by side their still might not be that big of difference if any, until you fit one of them. I would just pick one and use it. either one should be ok.

Been there, done that...Not easy, not fun, but it sure beats doing floors!!!
 I had transplanted a used roof, 250-500 welds  I had been hearing about the roofskin before I tore into mine, and could not afford the 600 bucks for a new skin so I bought  a used roof instead. (wish I coulda) .
I have heard the difference between the two is in  the flanges. AMD's panel is right on the money from what  I remember. The Goodmark panel is good, but the flanges are a little short from what I recall.
Check in the body shop section, search Roof Skin/AMD product review.
I think Everyone who got one chimed in.

Spend time making sure that your roof skin is alligned roe/aft/side to side in the channels- A little goes a long way. If you dont take the time to measure/level it, it will cause major mis-allignment to the window frame.
I have mine clamped every 6 inches to assure the roof does not shrink when I weld it.

I boxed up and agreed to sell  all of my roof support structure stuff to WagesofSin.
I had sold a few pieces a while back, and also put it up here, then Ebay, with only wagesofsin's response.
I think you are doing the right thing by starting with a fresh skin. If I had the  coin, that's what I would have done. AMD also sell drip rails too, which are also awesome.
The rest of the stuff can be fabbed and found easily. No one ususaly bothers to sell the structure.
Your car looks great, and you have just made some major progress. When you get that skin on, you will never have to worry about it again.
I have about 2 weeks before my car goes to get the interior and engine bay painted. I need to get my roof welded on before that time too.

My back was out last year, so I canged my focus. I have been concentrating on aquiring the parts to get the car running, ao I can drive it out of the garage to do the bodywork. I just can't push the car out of the garage anymore.

 Yea like I said on the roof, that was probably back in 06 when you offered. All my fault, as I got off my Chally for a while during that time

 SO, SO glad to hear the drip rails are available, as mine are history, as well as a lot of the other steel that was hiding under the roof
