Panel bonder, 3M product. it is a welding adhesive for structure. We've used it on the cudas we did roofs on and it is a good product. weld across the seems from and back and panel bond the sides. It is strong, seals, dries hard, doesn't crack or shrink, sands nice.

if using panel bonding adhesive, there is no need to weld front or rear, only the a & c pillars, once that stuff sets,it's done forever,no grinding and  no rust to worry about on pinchwelds, the only way to remove bonded sheetmetal is to use a torch and heat it up to around 400 degrees, :2cents:

Hey Dan, thanks for replying, and hope your back gets better too

Yea like I said on the roof, that was probably back in 06 when you offered. All my fault, as I got off my Chally for a while during that time  :bricks1:

Looks like your is coming right along man.
Look forward to seeing your progress

SO, SO glad to hear the drip rails are available, as mine are history, as well as a lot of the other steel that was hiding under the roof  :swear: :stomp:
I wont turn this into a resto thread, but just figured I'd shoot up a few pics

Wow!!!!! I know some of this looks daunting, but its not as bad as it looks.
Geez Jeff, now I really feel bad. If I knew a week sooner.... You would have had it.
I don't think any of it is impossible, but I do think it will take some time.
The hard stuff - all of the exterior appearance metal- can be purchased new.
All of the surface stuff can be found in decent shape off of parts cars.
You can still find roof cut-offs out there.
I would recommend putting a classified ad on this site asking for a roof structure.
Garanteed results!
Some other areas can be fabbed if needed.
You can definitely do this job! Take your sweet time, and be methodical!
Best,
Dan
