Nice 'Cuda! :2thumbs:

Couple questions on your roll bar/cage setup if you can help me. I can't tell from the pictures, did you keep the rear seat? Looks like a 4 point from the pictures, did you have it custom made, or where did you get it? Do you have any pictures of it specifically, or closer interior shots with it in? Thinking about something similar, but I want to retain the rear seat if I can so I would just go 4 point without a cross bar in the hoop...

Thanks!

I got the 4 point roll bar from swracecars.com.  You can get them in two types 1. where the rear beams go up and over where the rear seat would be and come down through the rear speaker holes. 2. where the rear beams go straight through where the rear seat would be.  I went with option 2 and will be installing custom speaker gear in place of the seat.  If you went with option 1, you could install the rear seat, but if it was me I wouldn't have any passengers back there.  It's just too dangerous.  They could bang their heads on the bars.  If you didn't install the crossbar, the cage would not be very strong laterally and you wouldn't be able to mount harnessess in the correct location.  Good luck!  Here's a pic...

Thanks for the pictures!

I'd like to keep the back seat. Although looking at the pictures the 4 point cage is smaller than I thought, I imagined it being all the way out at the roofline (ie, more room for passengers). I'm looking into my options right now, trying to balance this being my driver and setting it up for taking it to the track. Obviously the car, even with just the 4 point without the crossbar will be stiffer than without any of it at all. Maybe I could do a removable or bolt it cross bar. I think I'm going to have to look into the rule books on some of this stuff, I'm very much still in research mode.
