Heater Control Panel Lamp - Part II
« on: April 20, 2009 - 06:24:05 PM »
Hi Guys, (me again)

I have mounted the lamp assembly and it does not look
correct. There is only one mounting hole location for the
bracket. Shouldn't the lamp assembly be up in that
somewhat rectangular hole so it will shine down on the
heater controls? What am I missing?

You did not state your model year or application?

That said, these are from a 1970 rallye cluster;

Thanks TA,

That's just the picture I needed. I found the other mounting hole under the switch in that corner of the switch assembly. Now it looks like your picture. The assembly is going in a '70 Challenger. So that worked out great.

It looks like what tripped you up a bit is that someone installed the metal bracket from a non Rallye switch panel on a Rallye switch panel. You can see that Barry's Rallye metal plate has shorter extensions. No bid deal. They can always be trimmed back.

Glad you got it corrrected.  :thumbsup:
