I personally loved the fact that when I had my Aspen R/T, which was looked down on by even more people than the post 72 cars, I would listen to the crap about how my car was junk and not worth anything, blah, blah, blah, and my restored whatever is bigger, badder, and worth more. So I'd ask them to run up against my "lowley" F body to school me on how a "real" muscle car was supposed to run. I'd then proceed to rip off a low 12 second e.t., smoke them by a second and half, and then conceed that yeah, your date code correct, restored hemi carbs probably cost more than my entire car and I'm sure your tune up is off a little which is why you couldn't keep up.
